Gentle Yoga
As we age it becomes increasingly important for us to include regular exercise in our daily routines.
Yoga improves balance and posture, range of motion and core strength. It also restores joint mobility and
flexibility, strengthens joints & muscles, and improves foot health.
Gentle yoga is designed
for individuals who would benefit from the use of chairs or props. Students can remain seated for the entire class
or use the chair for support and for help getting up and down from the floor. Students also reap the many health benefits
of deep breathing and progressive relaxation.

Revive & Restore
Restorative yoga provides a much needed reprieve from the stresses of everyday life - including the pressure for over-achievement
and perfection. This is a time to really let go of it all...
Blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters
are used to support the body to relieve muscular tension. Slow rhythmic breathing oxygenates the blood
and diminishes emotional stress. The atmosphere includes soft lighting, soothing music and aromatherapy - All
of this to create a full body -mind experience.
It is recommended that practicioners
participate in at least one or two restorative sessions each month.
